    Teaching Philosophy

    One of the best attributes that I have as a teacher is the fact that I am flexible. To meet the needs of my students and each of my classes I will make adjustments that I need to during each lesson or unit. Most of my lessons involve active participation by the students and the inclusion of several different learning styles in one.     Educational Technology Tool Review

    This week for our assignment, I reviewed three tools to use for classroom instruction. The tools that I reviewed were: Google Expeditions, Explain Everything Whiteboard and Adobe Spark Page. Both Google Expeditions and Adobe Spark Page I will be using for my instruction in my own classroom. The Explain Everything Whiteboard was alright but not as great of an experience as I would have hoped. More than likely I won’t use this tool again.     1:1 iPad Utilization in the Classroom

    Technology has become fused into our daily lives as it continues to evolve and become more accessible to the masses.  It is not surprising that school districts have been focusing on educational technology and how it can be used to innovate current methods of instruction.     Gaming in the Social Studies Classroom

    This week we stayed on the topic of gaming and gamification in the classroom setting.
